About Foodcellar Market Court Square

Foodcellar Market Court Square is a gift and home store in Long Island City, New York. It is listed at 43-18 Crescent St, Long Island City, NY 11101, which places it among the local businesses of Long Island City that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by. Besides its main category, the business also describes itself as supermarket, so it may cover more than the name suggests.

This group covers the other places gardeners shop and the businesses that turned up next to garden centers on the map: gift and home decor stores, pet and grocery stores with seasonal plants, craft and antique shops, and local services that do not fit a gardening category. Supermarkets and home stores are useful for a quick bag of potting soil or a pot of herbs; a nursery is the better choice for advice and plants suited to your yard.

Long Island City is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around Long Island City is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across New York's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

I have been a frequent customer at both Food Cellar LIC locations for quite some time. Unfortunately, I stopped visiting the Court Square location because of the consistently poor customer service, particularly in the bakery and coffee area. The only employees who have consistently provided exceptional service are the gentleman at the sushi station during weekday mornings and the woman who works alongside him. They are always professional, friendly, and provide a great customer experience. My biggest concern is with the bakery/coffee counter. On one visit, I ordered a chai latte and clearly explained that I am severely lactose intolerant and needed oat milk instead of regular milk. Despite emphasizing this to the employee, my drink was made with regular milk. I realized the mistake after taking a sip while walking to the register, and it caused me to have a severe reaction that forced me to rush home. This was not a minor inconvenience, it was a health issue that could have been prevented with greater care and attention. The lack of concern, combined with the employee’s unnecessary attitude, made the experience even more disappointing. Today’s visit (7/14/26) confirmed my decisi

Visiting from out of town and it has so much to offer. They have a variety of fresh food, pizza and some of the best trail mixes I’ve had in a while. great place to stock up on if you’re staying in the area for a bit.

This store conveniently changes their prices and think no one will notice. About two weeks ago I walked in and saw kombucha on sale for $2.99. I selected three flavors and took them to the register where they rang up full price. I showed the sale tag and they fixed my transaction, though I could see it in the manager’s face that maybe he had messed up. The cashier also looked perplexed herself. The next week I walk in and the sale tag had changed. If it was not for my picture, I would not have confirmation to share with you all. And then there’s an arbitrary β€œwhile supplies last” as the sale end date. Clearly they did not sell out in a week, so they changed their sale price to gouge their customers. Shop cautiously and beware.

Everything is marked up double and even triple in price compared to other places! They could do a better job keeping things refrigerated. . . some things that needed refrigeration where left out but despite all that it was a nice place to sit and eat. The staff was decent and the food was actually good despite the sandwich being skimpy they have a large selection good place for lunch just be prepared to spend restaurant money for a small snack

I live right by trader joe’s but I always take the extra couple minutes to come here. the stock is fresh, store is not overcrowded, and the guys who run the store are diligent. yes, it’s a slight premium, but if you live in the area, you’re probably not fussing over a few extra dollars in groceries. the photos speak for themselves!
